Configuration: Enable job notifications about failed and successful execution results

Summary

This article describes how to configure notifications for specific jobs. Cayosoft Guardian offers pre-defined notifications for various execution results. For example, you can configure a backup plan to send you notifications for each failed or successful execution. A communication channel must be configured before enabling notifications.

Configure notification

1. Open Cayosoft Guardian Web Portal
2. Go to Configuration>Jobs
3. Find a job and select it
4. Press Properties
5. Open Notification tab 
6. Select a predefined event type such as Job execution failed 
7. Uncheck Disabled checkbox
8. Go to Notification channels
9. Select an existing channel or add a new communication channel
10. Configure communication channel
