Summary: Customers may decide to change the service account used for the Cayosoft Administrator Windows Service or for an Extension.

Windows Service Account

The server service account will likely have been set to Logon as the Cayosoft Service Account. This can be done by viewing the service properties in the Windows Services MMC and modifying the appropriate fields on the Logon Tab.

 

Extensions

Within Cayosoft, each of the Extensions (Active Directory, Exchange, Office 365, etc...) may have a service that will need to be updated.

 

Web Queries

By default, web queries and associated actions are set to use the service account specified in the associated extension. For example, when querying Active Directory, Web Queries use the credentials define when configuring the extension during configuration wizard. These credentials can be manually overwritten however, and as such must be checked if the service account is being changed.

 

Replication Partnerships

When adding a replication subscriber a username and password are required. If the service account's details where used, the credentials for the replication partnership must also be updated.
