Cayosoft Suspend requirements

Software requirements

• Microsoft .Net Framework version 4.5

• Active Directory Users and Computers MMC

• Windows Workstation version XPSP3 or later – or – Windows Server Version 2008r2 or later

• No schema extensions required

Permission requirements

• Administrator permission in Active Directory to register display specifiers (First console installed only)

• Administrator permissions on the workstation or server running Active Directory Users and Computers

• Permissions in Active Directory to modify & disable Users and Groups

Pre-installation checklist for Cayosoft Suspend

• Verify .Net 4.5 or later Framework is installed

• Verify Active Directory Users & Computers is installed

• Account being used to install is Domain Admins or higher

Installing Cayosoft Suspend

1. Downloaded Cayosoft Suspend self-extracting file.

2. Double click the self-extracting file to run the setup program.

3. Click Next.

4. Check the I accept the terms in the License Agreement box then click Next.

5. Enter your name and company name then click Next.

6. Leave the “Extend Active Directory Users and Computers Snap-in…” checkbox checked and click Next.

7. To install Cayosoft Suspend click Install.

8. After the installation program competes click Finish.

Verifying the Cayosoft Suspend installation

1. Open the Active Directory Users & Computers Console.

2. Locate or create a test user account.

3. Right click the test user account to display the user context menu.

4. Verify the Suspend command is present in the menu.
