Rule description
This rule finds all Office 365 users according to the specified Office 365 License options and, if the found Office 365 user's corresponding Active Directory account is not a member of the specified Active Directory group, put it into the report.
When to use this rule
Use this rule when you need to find Office 365 user accounts that have Office 365 licenses assigned but not included into Licensing groups.

License Options |
Select which Microsoft Office 365 license plans and options should be assigned to Office 365 user accounts. Check the plan to check Office 365 license plan options. Tip: You can click Exclude from rule to completely exclude plan from the rule. In this case, this plan and its options won't be taken into consideration at all and won't be checked.
To ignore some plans' options, you should check them in the plan at first and then uncheck. |
Filter (Office 365 Users) |
Use the filter to hide unwanted data returned by the query. |
Stop rule if tenant licensing change detected |
It is recommended to stop the rule execution if tenant licensing change discovered. Tip: If licensing change detected, you should click Update License in Microsoft Office 365 extension. For details, see KB20181017-1.

Exclude AD Group Members |
Specify AD groups Distinguished Names, which members will be excluded from checking of Office 365 license plans' options. If the group, specified in Include AD Group Members, contains the same members as the group, specified in Exclude AD Group Members, these users won't be checked the assigned Office 365 licenses plans' options. |
Maximum number of users |
The maximum number of users returned from Office 365 by default is 2000. Tip: It is possible to change the default value in Microsoft Office 365 extension settings.
