Virtual Admin Units
Administrative Units have been renamed to reflect an architectural update. In version 8x Admin Units will now be referred to as Virtual Admin Units (vAU). As mentioned this rename is accompanied by several changes in architecture and behavior. The most visible change will be in vAU on-going management which should now be simpler for administrators to use effectively.
Restricted Groups (Privileged Access Management)
Cayosoft Restricted Groups have been updated to provide both candidate membership rules and time based membership rules (sometimes known as Temporal Memberships). Candidate membership rules set define requirements that must be met before the object is actually made a member of the group or role. Time based membership rules set a static date/time when a user is put into the group, how long the member can remain a member of a group or a static exit time when the member will be removed.
Delegation Over Recycle Bins
Delegation over on-premises and cloud Microsoft Recycle Bin has added through integration with Cayosoft Guardian. In Administrator Configuration Console under the Connected Systems configuration, Cayosoft Guardian Integration extension now appears. When this extension is enabled, new Recycle Bin Web Queries are displayed in Active Directory and Microsoft Office 365 Admin Units. Using these Web Queries, you can Undelete deleted objects. With Cayosoft Guardian Integration, administrators can quickly see, understand, and rollback mistakes or malicious changes across the hybrid Active Directory environment within their scope of delegation. Cayosoft Guardian Integration extension provides Recycle Bin web queries and Undelete web action to undelete Active Directory objects and Office 365 users and groups.
