Multi-Forest Management and Automation
Cayosoft Administrator now supports simultaneous management and automation for multiple Active Directory forests or subdomains within the same or separate forests.
User Photo Management
A user photo can now be set in Cayosoft Web Portal. Users can now set the photo for a user account directly in the Cayosoft web portal.
Self-Service Support for Azure AD and Legacy AD Authentication
Self-Service user and group management in Active Directory have been updated to support hybrid sign-in with both Active Directory and Azure AD user credentials.
Microsoft Teams Voice Policy Management
Web Portal to set and modify Microsoft Teams voice settings, including DID phone number assignment for both Calling Plan and Direct Routing.
Virtual Admin Units
Administrative Units have been renamed to reflect an architectural update. In version 8x Admin Units will now be referred to as Virtual Admin Units (vAU). As mentioned this rename is accompanied by several changes in architecture and behavior. The most visible change will be in vAU on-going management which should now be simpler for administrators to use effectively.
License Profiles Make License Management Easy
Rarely do all day-to-day admins or help desk staff possess adequate knowledge of Microsoft's complex licensing to correctly assign licenses each time. Licensing assignment and update mistakes cause costly and hard to find delays and outages. In other cases, complex combinations of similar licenses are required to meet business objectives or keep costs down. License Profiles represent a unique set of licenses and options that are given unique names; for example possibly by Job Title. When an admin needs to assign that set of licenses they simply choose the correct profile by name at which point Cayosoft assigns the appropriate licenses and options.
Family Groups to Construct and Populate Sets of Groups
Family Groups analyze user attributes then both dynamically create groups and dynamically maintain each group's membership of those groups as attributes are changed. For example, you could create a Family Group based on the department attribute of your users that would find all unique department names and create a group for each and add the appropriate users to those groups. As users change departments and their attributes are changed, they are automatically removed and added to the correct group based on their updated department attribute value. Further, if users are discovered with a department a new unique department value, a new group is automatically created for that department and the user(s) are added automatically. This feature is different from Cayosoft Dynamic Groups as Dynamic Groups require a group already exist at which point membership rules can be created.
Drive Adoption and Improve Microsoft Office ROI
Continuously boost adoption of the right applications via targeted delivery of training content-based user usage data and adoption progress. The new automation rule targets users who don't utilize or underutilize the assigned Microsoft 365 services. Default training links point to Microsoft Training Center Content but can be updated to point to your preferred training content provider.
Restricted Groups (True Hybrid Privileged Access Management)
Cayosoft Restricted Groups have been updated to provide both candidate membership rules and time-based membership rules (sometimes known as Temporal Memberships). Candidate membership rules set define requirements that must be met before the object is actually made a member of the group or role. Time-based membership rules set a static date/time when a user is put into the group, how long the member can remain a member of a group, or a static exit time when the member will be removed.
Delegation Over Recycle Bins
Delegation over on-premises and cloud Microsoft Recycle Bin has been added through integration with Cayosoft Guardian. In Administrator Configuration Console under the Connected Systems configuration, Cayosoft Guardian Integration extension now appears. When this extension is enabled, new Recycle Bin Web Queries are displayed in Active Directory and Microsoft Office 365 Admin Units. Using these Web Queries, you can Undelete deleted objects. With Cayosoft Guardian Integration, administrators can quickly see, understand, and roll back mistakes or malicious changes across the hybrid Active Directory environment within their scope of delegation. Cayosoft Guardian Integration extension provides Recycle Bin web queries and Undelete web action to undelete Active Directory objects and Office 365 users and groups.
