Configuring notification channels
Guardian allows the configuration of notification channels to get notifications and alerts about performed object changes in Microsoft Teams and Exchange Online.
Note: To use notification channels, you must apply for an Office 365 license to an Office 365 connection account with assigned Microsoft Teams and Exchange online options.
Microsoft Teams connector configuration
- In Guardian navigate to Configuration > Communication Channels.
- Select Microsoft Teams Communication Channel.
- Click Properties.
- In Default Team specify the Team name in which you want to get notifications.
- In Default Channel specify the channel name.
- Check the tenant name.
- Click Save.
- Click Test to get a Guardian test alert in Teams.
Exchange Online connector configuration
- In Guardian navigate to Configuration > Communication Channels.
- Select Exchange Online Communication Chanel.
- Click Properties.
- In Sender specify an account email address that will send notifications and alerts.
- In Recipient specify an account email address that will receive notifications and alerts.
- Click Save.
- Click Test to get test email in Exchange Online.
