Configuration
By default, Microsoft Excel opens CSV files using ASCII encoding. In order for accent characters are displayed properly, you should open the CSV file in UTF-8 format.
- Open Microsoft Excel.
- Click on the Data menu bar option.
- Click From Text/CSV
- Select the file that should be imported and click Import - Import wizard will appear on the screen.
- Specify a Delimiter that is used in your file. Usually, it is a comma.
- In File Origin select Unicode (UTF-8).
- Click Load.
