Issue description
After upgrading Cayosoft Guardian from version 6.2 to 6.2.1, some environments may encounter backup plan failures. This is caused by the Forest Recovery agents failing to upgrade during the product update.
To resolve the issue, the agents must be manually uninstalled and reinstalled.
This issue is limited to upgrades from 6.2.0 to 6.2.1, and no other version is affected.
Resolution
Step 1: Uninstall existing agents to ensure any corrupted or outdated agents are removed.

- Navigate to Forest Recovery > Agent Management.
- Select all listed agent hosts.
- Click Uninstall.
- Optional: On the target host(s), open Programs and Features (or Apps & Features) and confirm that the agent has been removed.
Step 2: Re-run the backup plan
- Open the Cayosoft Guardian web portal.
- Navigate to Jobs > Backup Plans.
- Select the affected backup plan.
- Click Run.
- Verify that the plan completes successfully.
