Alias generation rule

Primary SMTP generation rule

By default, the Cayosoft Administrator service sets Alias and Primary SMTP attributes equal to DisplayName.

It is also possible to set Alias and Primary SMTP manually during Microsoft 365 group creation.

Default SMTP suffix

The default UPN suffix is defined in the Microsoft 365 User name suffix setting in the Microsoft 365 connection account.

Enforce group name prefix

If a group name prefix is specified, you could enforce a Group name prefix to a group alias or to all group naming attributes.

Show Ticket input field

Specify whether to display the Ticket field on the web form or not.

By default, the ticket is not displayed.

Show Comment input field

Specify whether to display the Comment field on the web form or not.

By default, the comment is displayed. 

Other Attributes

If you use Microsoft 365 extension attributes to store additional information for group accounts, you could select these attributes and map them to Other Attributes.

To set labels or default values for these attributes, please use Attribute Policies.

Virtual Attributes

Virtual Attribute 1 - Virtual Attribute 25

Virtual Attributes allow extending the attribute list for Microsoft 365 distribution groups.

Select the virtual attributes from the list and map them to Virtual Attribute 1 - Virtual Attribute 25.

Custom Generation Tokens

Custom generation tokens allow the use of the values of the attributes of the user who is running the action (initiator) in the Attribute Policies that are applied to the creation of Active Directory and Microsoft 365 objects.  Custom generation tokens should be set in the corresponding Web Action configuration form.

Example: 

{@{'InitiatorDepartment'=GetInitiatorProperty('department')}}

After that InitiatorDepartment token can be used in the Attribute Policy that is applied to this Web Action.
