Configuring Alert when Dynamic Group Threshold is Crossed

Dynamic Groups have the Add members and Remove members threshold settings.

You can find these settings in Dynamic Group Advanced Settings section. These settings don't allow change Dynamic Group membership during Dynamic Group run if the number of members to add or remove is above the specified threshold. For details, please see the Advanced settings of Dynamic Groups article.

You can configure email alert so that when the specified threshold is crossed, Administrator will get notification and can take the necessary actions.

Configuration

1. Open the Cayosoft Administrator Console and go to the Dynamic Group settings.

2. In the Output section of a Dynamic Group settings click Change Output Type.

   

3. Select Send E-mail Alert.

   

4. Select When completed with error in the When setting and specify desired alert recipients in the To setting (or CC or BCC settings).

   

5. Click Save Changes.

When the Dynamic Group is run and the number of users to add or remove is above specified threshold the e-mail alert will be sent.
