Advanced settings of Dynamic Groups
Use the advanced settings of a Dynamic Group to control change tracking, group metadata, membership-change thresholds, and how Dynamic Groups are organized in the Cayosoft Administrator Console.
Membership thresholds can help protect against unexpectedly large changes by preventing a Dynamic Group run from adding or removing more members than the configured limit.

Add change details to Change History and Execution History |
Select this option to add Dynamic Group change details to Change History and Execution History. |
Replace group description with the following text |
Specify the text that replaces the current value of the group description attribute. |
Replace group note with the following text (for AD groups only) |
Specify the text that replaces the current group note value. NOTE This setting can be applied to Active Directory groups only. |
Add members threshold |
Specify the maximum number of members that a Dynamic Group run can add to the target group. NOTE This is a general setting that is applied across all Dynamic Group rules. If the number of members to add exceeds the threshold, the membership change is not applied and the following error is reported: Failed to add members, because the number of new members to add was above the defined threshold . |
Remove members threshold |
Specify the maximum number of members that a Dynamic Group run can remove from the target group. NOTE This is a general setting that is applied across all Dynamic Group rules. If the number of members to remove exceeds the threshold, the membership change is not applied and the following error is reported: Failed to remove members, because the number of members to remove was above the defined threshold . |
