Change Monitoring: Built-in and custom queries
Using built-in and custom queries
Cayosoft Guardian has predefined built-in queries and allows creating your queries. With custom queries, you can preserve your search conditions and use them for alerting and reporting scenarios.
Accessing built-in queries
- In the Cayosoft Guardian web portal, expand the Change Monitoring node.
- Click the Change History node.
- Click All Changes.
- In Standard Queries, select one of the predefined queries.
Create a custom query
- In the Cayosoft Guardian web portal, navigate to Change History.
- Select a saved query, for example, All Changes.
- Specify conditions for at least one of the following quick filters:
- When - date range when the changes have been performed
- What - name of the object(s) which changes you want to track
- Action - name(s) of the action(s) that were performed on the object(s)
- Object type - a type of the specified object(s)
- Properties - object(s) properties that you want to track
- Who - user(s) who performed the changes
- Where - managed Office 365 tenants or Active Directory domains
- Advanced Filter - you can use the OData filter
- Click Run query.
- Click the Save icon.
- Specify a name for your query.
- When your new query is saved, open it from the list of Saved Queries.
