Configuration: Automatic product updates in Cayosoft Guardian

Cayosoft Guardian can automatically download and install product updates. This article describes how to manage settings related to automatic product updates.

How to enable or disable automatic installation of product updates

To change how Cayosoft Guardian updates:

1. Open Cayosoft Guardian web portal.
2. Expand the Settings node.
3. Click on the Service Settings.
4. Double-click on the Product Update Settings.
5. Change the value of When new version is detected.
   1. If you prefer to update the product manually, select Download and inform.
   2. If you want Cayosoft Guardian to install updates automatically, select Download and update...

How to check installation history

1. Open Cayosoft Guardian web portal.
2. Expand the Settings node.
3. Click on the Service Settings.
4. Double-click on the Product Update Settings.
5. Go to the Installation History tab.

How to get early access to releases

Cayosoft makes early versions of products available for preview before general availability of the mainstream releases. To get notified of the early adopter releases:

1. Open Cayosoft Guardian Web Portal.
2. Expand the Settings node.
3. Click on the Service Settings.
4. Double-click on the Product Update Settings.
5. Change the Update channel for Cayosoft Guardian dropdown to Early adopters.
