How to enable notifications for threat alerts

This article describes how to configure notifications about threat alerts in Cayosoft Guardian. This functionality is available only in version 5.x and above.

Prerequisites

To receive notifications about threat alerts, at least one communication channel must be configured. Learn more about how to configure communication channels: Configuration: Configure communication channels.

Enabling notifications for threat alerts

To enable notifications for a specific threat definition:

1. Open the Cayosoft Guardian web portal.
2. Expand theThreat Detection node.
3. Click on the Threat Definitions node.
4. Select all Threat Definitions or select specific items.
5. Press Configure notifications.
6. Select Teams notifications or Mail notifications.
7. Set the value of Send notifications via... to Enable...
