Service Maintenance | Restart working sessions rule
Rule description
Use this rule to restart Cayosoft Administrator working sessions manually or schedule the restart. The rule does not affect the Cayosoft Administrator Service operation and does only restart the working sessions.
IMPORTANT: After you run the rule, Cayosoft Administrator stops all current sessions and creates new sessions. The initialization process may take some time and delay the execution of rules and tasks.
Use cases
When you run Cayosoft Administrator, it creates dedicated sessions to manage corresponding platforms (e.g., Active Directory, Entra ID, Exchange Server, etc.). Each session has a 24-hour lifespan; once a session expires, Cayosoft Administrator creates a new session to continue monitoring the platform.
You can use this rule to manually restart the sessions or schedule the restart to bypass the regular 24-hour-long lifespan and introduce a shorter session lifespan.
NOTE: You can find the session start time in the Home > Queue screen.
