Work with Microsoft Teams
Creating a New Team
Select the Microsoft Office 365 administrative unit and click Teams.
Click New Team.
Select New Team and Group or New Team from existing Group.

If the New Team and Group selected:
Enter Team Name
Enter Team email address
Select Team email address suffix
If the New Team from existing Group selected, select Group.
Select Team Privacy: Public, Private or Hidden membership.
Optionally , specify Description and Comment.
Click Next.
Specify Member Permissions, Guest Permissions, @mentions, and Fun settings.
Click Next.
Specify Group settings.

Add owners.
NOTE: User must be licensed for Microsoft Teams to be set as a Team owner.
Click Create.
View or change Team properties
Click the Microsoft Office 365 Admin Unit then click Teams.
Enter the name of the Team in the search field and click Search Objects.
Click the checkbox to the left of the Team’s name.
On the Actions menu, click Properties.
Mail properties
Click the Microsoft Office 365 Admin Unit then click Teams.
Enter the name of the Team in the search field and click Search Objects.
Click the checkbox to the left of the Team’s name.
On the Actions menu, click Mail Properties.
Membership
Click the Microsoft Office 365 Admin Unit then click Teams.
Enter the name of the Team in the search field and click Search Objects.
Click the checkbox to the left of the Team’s name.
On the Actions menu, click Membership.

To Add a User(s) to the Team:
Click +Add.
Enter the name of the user in the search field and click Search Objects.
Select the User(s) by clicking the check to the left of the name.
Click OK.
Enter the name of the user(s) in the Search field and click Search Objects.
Click the checkbox to the left of the user’s name then click OK.

To Remove a User(s) from the Team:
Click the checkbox to the left of the user’s name.
Click the Remove button.
Click Update to save changes to the Team.
Archive Team
Click the Microsoft Office 365 Admin Unit then click Teams.
Enter the name of the Team in the search field and click Search Objects.
Click the checkbox to the left of the Team’s name.
On the Actions menu, click Archive.
Specify Comment if needed.
Check Set permissions for team members to read-only on the SharePoint Online if needed.
Click Archive.
Unarchive Team
Click the Microsoft Office 365 Admin Unit then click Teams.
Enter the name of the Team in the search field and click Search Objects.
Click the checkbox to the left of the Team’s name.
On the Actions menu, click Unarchive.
Specify Comment if needed.
Click Unarchive.
Delete Team
Click the Microsoft Office 365 Admin Unit then click Teams.
Enter the name of the Team in the search field and click Search Objects.
Click the checkbox to the left of the Team’s name.
On the Actions menu, click Delete.
Enter a comment that will be recorded in the operational history log.
Click Delete.
