Overview
At Cayosoft, we are committed to continually enhancing our products' functionality, performance, and security. A crucial part of this process involves collecting and analyzing telemetry data from our customers' environments.
Adherence to the EULA
Telemetry data collection is strictly governed by our End-User License Agreement (EULA). Section 8.1 of the agreement explicitly states:
"Notwithstanding anything to the contrary in this Agreement, Cayosoft may monitor Customer’s use of the Cayosoft Products and collect and compile Usage Data. As between Cayosoft and Customer, all rights, titles, and interests in Usage Data, and all intellectual property rights therein, belong to and are retained solely by Cayosoft. Customer agrees that Cayosoft may (i) make Usage Data publicly available in compliance with applicable law, and (ii) use Usage Data to the extent and in the manner permitted under applicable law; provided that such Usage Data does not identify Customer or Customer’s Confidential Information."
This clause ensures that we collect telemetry data in a way that respects the privacy and confidentiality of our customers while enabling us to enhance our products.
