Forest Settings for Exchange Management

When you configure the forest settings in the Managed Domains table in the Active Directory extension you should specify the scenario for the Exchange management that you plan to use in your environment. These values are possible:

1. Enabled for all recipients, with Exchange Extension. Learn more in: Hybrid Exchange

2. Enabled for remote recipients only, with direct attributes update in AD. Learn more in: Direct Attributes Update in Active Directory.

3. Enabled for remote recipients only, using Exchange Management Tools. Learn more in: Exchange Management Tools.

4. Disabled - you will have no mailbox management actions available for Active Directory objects.
