Impact of mandatory MFA enforcement on Cayosoft Administrator
Overview
The policy update by Microsoft, enforcing mandatory multifactor authentication (MFA) for Azure and Microsoft 365 services, affects Cayosoft Administrator in environments using the services. Admins and users accessing Microsoft services through Cayosoft Administrator must comply with the MFA requirements.
IMPORTANT: The mandatory multifactor authentication policy enforcement by Microsoft is being implemented in phases. Based on the current scope of phase 2 of the enforcement, Cayosoft does not anticipate any impact on the operation of Cayosoft Administrator, as Cayosoft Administrator does not rely on the affected clients. Should future changes to the mandatory MFA enforcement indicate a potential impact, Cayosoft will take the necessary steps to ensure compliance and maintain the product functionality. For additional information on the mandatory multifactor enforcement by Microsoft, refer to the following article: Azure mandatory multifactor authentication — Phase 2 | Microsoft.
Details
While the core Cayosoft Administrator functionality remains intact, any workflows involving authentication with Microsoft 365 or Azure AD must ensure that MFA is enabled. This may require configuration changes to maintain seamless operations. For more information, see Microsoft's update.
