Cayosoft Administrator can automatically generate attributes during object creation.

You can select generation rules from the list or create your own so that they will correspond to your organization's requirements and policies.

Primary email suffix

Specify the email suffix to use as primary.

Default UPN suffix

The default value is Use Web Query Default Domain. Usually, this is the Default Active Directory domain that is defined in the Active Directory extension.

Specify is email prefix and suffix controls that should be displayed on the New Equipment Mailbox form.

The default value is taken from the same setting in the Active Directory extension.

Maximum SamAccountName length

Cayosoft Administrator has a 20-character limitation as this is Microsoft's recommendation for backward compatibility. For more details, please see this article: https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms679635(v=vs.85).aspx

This is not a hard limit, and you can increase the maximum number of allowed characters using the Cayosoft Administrator Attribute Policy.

Create delegation groups

Specify whether to create delegation SendAs and FullAccess delegation groups when creating a new shared mailbox.

Default OU for new delegation groups

Specify default OU for new delegation groups.

Full Access group name suffix

Send As group name suffix

Specify the group name suffix that will be added to the created group.

Specify the generation rule for the mailNickname attribute.

Default Description

You can specify the default values for these attributes that will be displayed on the New Shared Mailbox creation wizard.

Enable automatic email address updates by address policy

If the Exchange address policy is applied, it generates email addresses, mail, and other proxy addresses automatically. The custom-generated values that are configured in Administrator Service will be ignored.

If you use Active Directory extension attributes to store additional information for shared mailboxes, you could select these attributes and map them to Other Attributes.

To set labels or default values for these attributes, please use Attribute Policies.

Virtual Attributes

Virtual Attribute 1 - Virtual Attribute 25

Virtual Attributes allow extending the attribute list for users in Active Directory without extending the Active Directory schema.

Select the virtual attributes from the list and map them to Virtual Attribute 1 - Virtual Attribute 25.

Custom Generation Tokens

Custom generation tokens allow using the values of the attributes of the user who is running the action (initiator) in the Attribute Policies that are applied to the creation of Active Directory and Office 365 objects.  Custom generation tokens should be set in the corresponding Web Action configuration form.

Example: 

{@{'InitiatorDepartment'=GetInitiatorProperty('department')}}

After that InitiatorDepartment token can be used in the Attribute Policy that is applied to this Web Action.
