Working with AD LDS Accounts
Overview
IMPORTANT: For AD LDS management separate license is required in addition to the Enterprise license.
Cayosoft Administrator allows the creation of AD LDS user accounts based on an object class that is derived from organizationalPerson class. AD LDS accounts can be created and modified using the Cayosoft automation rules. In Web Portall you can view and modify AD LDS account properties.
Configuring AD LDS
To start using AD LDS accounts in Cayosoft Administrator, you need to configure the AD LDS extension settings.
Creating AD LDS accounts
You can create AD LDS accounts using the AAD Users | Create AD LDS account automation rule.
NOTE: This rule can be linked as a post-rule to the web action.
Updating AD LDS accounts
You can update AD LDS accounts using these automation rules:

In the Web Portal, you can view and modify AD LDS account properties using Web Action.
Reporting on AD LDS accounts
You can the list of AD LDS accounts using AD LDS Accounts report rule.
Resource Forest scenario
In the case of the Resource Forest scenario, the created AD LDS accounts are linked to the AD accounts using objectSID attribute. If an AD account has a Linked Mailbox type, the link is established to the mailbox master AD account from the account forest.
