Disabling jobs and channels in Cayosoft Guardian
This article provides step-by-step instructions for disabling specific actions and collection jobs in Cayosoft Guardian. This may be necessary when removing certain permissions. For a list of required permissions, see Planing and preparation: Cayosoft Guardian System Requirements.
Disabling actions in collection jobs
To disable actions in the collection job:
Open the Cayosoft Guardian web portal.
Expand Configuration node.
Select the Jobs node.
Locate Entra IDChange Collection.
Select the job and click Properties.
Find an action for a specific object type and disable it.
Save changes.
Disabling Collect Office 365 Unified Log action in Entra Event Collection job
To disable the Event Collection job:
Open the Cayosoft Guardian web portal.
Expand Configuration node.
Select the Jobs node.
Locate Entra ID Event Collection.
Select the job and click Properties.
Disable the Collect Office 365 Unified Log action.
Save changes.
Disabling Entra Audit Log Collection action in Entra Event Collection job
Open the Cayosoft Guardian web portal.
Expand Configuration node.
Select the Jobs node.
Locate Entra ID Event Collection.
Select the job and click Properties.
Disable the Collect Office 365 Unified Log action.

Disabling Teams Change Collection job
To disable the Teams Change Collection job:
Open the Cayosoft Guardian web portal.
Expand Configuration node.
Select the Jobs node.
Locate Teams Change Collection.
Select the job and click Properties.
Enable the Disabled checkbox.
Save changes.
Disabling Exchange Online Change Collection job
To disable the Exchange Online Change Collection job:
Open the Cayosoft Guardian web portal.
Expand Configuration node.
Select the Jobs node.
Locate Exchange Online Change Collection.
Select the job and click Properties.
Enable the Disabled checkbox.
Save changes.
Disabling Communication Channel
To disable the Communication Channel:
Open the Cayosoft Guardian web portal.
Expand Configuration node.
Select the Communication Channel node.
Select the channel and click Properties.
Enable the Disabled checkbox.
Save changes.
