Cayosoft Administrator offline activation

Overview

Cayosoft Administrator implements cloud licensing to automatically communicate the license usage data to Cayosoft and allow for seamless experience in your environment. In air-gapped environments, you can activate your Cayosoft Administrator instance offline through a manual file exchange. This article outlines the steps for performing an offline activation of your Cayosoft Administrator instance.

Offline activation

Refer to the following steps to perform an offline activation of your Cayosoft Administrator instance:

1. When you run your Cayosoft Administrator instance for the first time, the Product Activation window is automatically prompted. Review and accept the agreement by selecting the checkbox, and click Next to proceed.
   

   

   
   

2. If Cayosoft Administrator is unable to connect to the Cayosoft License Server, the Transition to Offline Activation window is prompted. Retry online activation or click Offline Activation Process to proceed with offline activation.
   

   

   
   

3. Download your activation request file by clicking the Download Activation Request File... button. Send the file to the Cayosoft licensing team via licensing@cayosoft.com to receive an offline activation code. Click Next to proceed.

   

4. In the following window, click the Upload Activation Response File... button and link the file provided by the licensing team. Click Finish to complete the licensing process.

   

Cayosoft Administrator is activated and ready for use.
