How to import a CSV file with accents characters to Microsoft Excel

Configuration

By default, Microsoft Excel opens CSV files using ASCII encoding. In order for accent characters are displayed properly, open the CSV file in UTF-8 format.

1. Open Microsoft Excel.

2. Click the Data menu bar option.

3. Click From Text/CSVю

4. Select the file that should be imported and click Import - Import wizard will appear on the screen.

5. Specify a Delimiter that is used in your file. Usually, it is a comma.

6. In the File Origin, select Unicode (UTF-8).

7. Click Load.
