Issue when PowerShell modules cannot be installed
Summary: When running the Cayosoft Administrator System Check and trying to install the required PowerShell modules, you may get the error:
No match was found for the specified search criteria and module name MSOnline.
This article explains how to resolve this issue.
Applies to: Cayosoft Administrator 6.0.0 or later
Microsoft Online Command Pack for Windows Azure and Microsoft Graph PowerShell SDK are the PowerShell modules that are required for Cayosoft Administrator to connect and manage Microsoft Entra ID and Microsoft 365. These modules are loaded directly from Microsoft PowerShell Gallery. If your firewall is blocking that site or the ports it uses, you will not be able to install these modules.
NOTE: Starting from the 9.1.0 version, the Microsoft Graph PowerShell SDK is not required. Microsoft announced EOL for Graph in June 2022.
