Initial Configuration wizard
Open the Cayosoft Administrator Console for the first time.
The Initial configuration wizard will launch automatically to guide you through the initial setup process.
Follow the recommendations below.
Extensions
The wizard provides options to enable various extensions based on the systems you manage (e.g., Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace). To reduce overhead, enable only the extensions relevant to your environment.
If you encounter connection issues during setup, the wizard will display error messages. You can choose to skip the problematic extension for now and return to it later.
Extensions can be enabled or reconfigured at any time from the Cayosoft Administrator Console.
Email Settings (Notifications)

SMTP Configuration. Microsoft SMTP services are no longer supported for sending notifications. You must use an alternative SMTP server.
RECOMMENDED: Use Exchange Online (EXO) for SMTP.

Using Exchange Online (EXO). If you choose EXO as your mail service, ensure that the connection account used to configure EXO has an appropriate license assigned.
NOTE: EXO requires a licensed account to send notifications.

If you encounter connection issues during the initial configuration, you can skip the notification setup and enable or adjust it at a later time through the Cayosoft Administrator Console.
Public API
Restrict access to the Public API to trusted applications and users.
Use HTTPS for all API communications to ensure data is encrypted in transit.
