Summary: This article contains step-by-step instructions on how to set the usage location for MS 365 users that is based on their country information in Active Directory.
Two scenarios are possible:

Configuration
Update usage location for existent Microsoft 365 users
- Create AD Users rule.
- Change the rule Output type to Export to CSV Text file.
- Add the Country attribute to Properties to display.
- Check that UserPricipalName is also in Properties to display list.
- Configure Query criteria if needed.
- Save changes and run the rule.
- Create Text file | Update Office 365 Users rule.
- Select exported CSV file from AD Users rule as a data source.
- Use UserPrincipalName as an anchor attribute.
- In Settings > Usage Location select Country column from the CSV file.
- Save changes and run the rule.

To have a country name from Active Directory in the office location for Microsoft 365 users you should use {$_.Country} in the Usage location setting in AD Users | Create Office 365 Accounts (Cloud) rule in your runbook for new users provision:
