Teams Voice Settings (Cloud-only) web action
Overview
Use this web action to modify Microsoft Teams voice settings (Cloud-only), including DID phone number assignment for both Calling Plan and Direct Routing.
NOTE: Before using this rule in the Cayosoft Administrator Console, navigate to Configuration > Connected Systems Extensions > Microsoft 365 and set Connect to Microsoft Teams to Yes.

You can specify the Active Directory string attribute form which the number will be read and assigned to a user. |
Write number to AD attributes |
You can specify the Active Directory string attribute in which the number assigned to a user will also be written. |
Ignore extension |
When set to Yes, the currently assigned extension will be ignored for matching the assigned number with the range. |
Validate Phone System license |
When set to Yes the product will search for an assigned Phone System service/app and show a message if one cannot be found. This validation is done only during number assignment/update because a Phone System license is always required to assign a number. |
Default Calling Plan Search Values | |
City code generation rule |
When assigning a Calling plan you can use the selected city code as the default value for the location/city search. The city code is a concatenated string in the form: |
Emergency location search attribute |
Select the attribute used to search for emergency addresses and locations. The location attribute is the most granular and is called Place in the Teams UI. Multiple locations/places can exist on a single address. |
Emergency location search value |
Specify a value for the selected search attribute above. E.g. use New York if City is selected as a search attribute. |
Default Number Types | |
Default phone number type |
By default, if no number is assigned, no pre-selection is made for the number type. Use attribute value to hide a value. Review the following for additional information: How to configure the attribute policy to hide number types and Direct Routing methods in Teams Voice Settings web action. |
Default Direct Routing method |
The default assignment method if Direct Routing is selected. Use Attribute policies to hide one or more methods. |
