Office 365 Mailboxes | Enable Auditing rule
Rule description
The rule queries the specified Microsoft 365/Exchange Online scope and sets the auditing status for each queried mailbox based on the Enabled auditing setting.
When to use the rule
Use the rule to automate mailbox auditing:
Define the query using query criteria and filters.
Define the new auditing status for the queried mailboxes.
Define the maximum age of the audit log.

Define logged mailbox operations for each user role:
AuditOwner (actions performed by the mailbox owner)
AuditDelegate (actions performed by a delegated user)
AuditAdmin (actions performed by an administrator)

Maximum returned results |
The maximum number of mailboxes returned from Office 365. The default value is taken from Maximum returned results setting on CONFIGURATION > Microsoft 365 extension settings. |

Specify Yes to enable mailbox audit logging. Specify No to disable mailbox audit logging. When auditing is enabled, Cayosoft Administrator logs operations defined in the Mailbox operations to log for mailbox setting. |
| Maximum age of audit log |
Specify the maximum age of audit log entries for the mailbox. Log entries older than the specified age are removed. To specify an age value, use the
TIP: To set the value to 60 days and 59 seconds, use Setting this parameter to the value 00:00:00 removes all audit logs for the mailbox. The logs are removed the next time the Managed Folder Assistant processes the mailbox. |

Select the mailbox operations from the list to log for mailbox owners, delegate users, and administrators depending on the setting. |
