Patch for Cayosoft Administrator that allows to use Exchange Online PowerShell module v2.0.6
Summary: Cayosoft Administrator version 9.2.3 works with Exchange Online PowerShell V2 module version 2.0.5. Microsoft works under new versions of this module and has released version 2.0.6-Preview6 of the EXO V2 module that supports new features. Cayosoft Administrator doesn't support this version by default because it requires additional parameters when connecting to EXO API. The patch allows using this preview version with Cayosoft Administrator.
Applies to: Cayosoft Administrator v9.2.3.
How to install the patch
Follow the instructions below to install the patch.
NOTE: The patch is released for Cayosoft Administrator v9.2.3. To obtain the patch please send an email to support@cayosoft.com.
Close the Cayosoft Administrator Console.
Stop the Cayosoft Administrator Service (Open Task Manager, click the Services tab, select in the list CayoAdminService, and click Stop in the pop-up menu).
Open the folder with Cayosoft extensions, by default it is C:\Program Files\Cayo Software\AdminAssistant\Extensions.
Replace PM.Ext.O365.expkg with the one from the attachment. You can keep the old file in some other place.
Install the 2.0.6-Preview6 version on the EXO V2 module:
Uninstall-Module ExchangeOnlineManagement
Install-Module -Name ExchangeOnlineManagement -RequiredVersion 2.0.6-Preview6 -AlStart the Cayosoft Administrator, for example from the Task Manager.
The new extension file has version 9.2.3.1.
To check this you can open the Cayosoft Administrator console and navigate to Home > Configuration > Connected Systems Extensions > Microsoft 365.
Known issues

Since only Microsoft 365 extension was patched, you will see a red alert banner in the Console that the EXO module is required to be reinstalled to v2.0.5:
Required component must be upgraded to version: Exchange Online PowerShell Module (EXO V2). current version: 2.0.6. Required version: 2.0.5.
You can ignore this alert.

You can ignore this error.
The Cayosoft Requirements Check tool will suggest you reinstall the EXO V2 module to v2.0.5. You may ignore this if you want to work with the 2.0.6-Preview version.
