This offering includes the following six blocks:

Outcomes
This service offering ensures the efficient and timely deployment of Cayosoft Guardian, with subject matter experts assisting the Customer’s IT team in getting Cayosoft Guardian up and running and ready to use its base features.

Phases
Project kick-off and requirements
Cayosoft will work with the Customer to review the scope of work and validate the desired outcome of the Cayosoft Guardian installation.
Potential topics to discuss and determine as part of the project kick-off include:
- Delegation model
- Encryption for backups
- Backup locations
- Alerts and reports the Customer is looking for
- Communication channel, such as SMTP, Exchange Online, or Teams
- One forest to back up and configure for Standby Forest Recovery
- Service credentials and permissions
- Local SQL Server versus external SQL Server
Note: Based on the time allotted for the project, Cayosoft may only be able to implement a portion of the specific configuration requests.
Installation
Cayosoft will work with the Customer to install Cayosoft Guardian on the designated server and configure the base installation.
Configuration
Cayosoft will work with the Customer to configure the following areas, as applicable:
- Notifications
- Change monitoring rules and alerts, up to five rules or alerts
- Threat signature alerts review
- One threat signature for an alert or report
- Single forest backup and recovery
Examples of change monitoring rules and alerts include:
- Account lockout status
- Test group membership changes and automatic rollback
- Default Domain Controller Group Policy changes
- Conditional Access changes
- Cayosoft Guardian internal changes
Validation and testing
Cayosoft will work with the Customer to validate the implemented configurations and ensure they are working as intended.
Knowledge transfer
Cayosoft will work with the Customer to review and walk through their Cayosoft Guardian installation, including customizations and basic product functionality.
Professional Services closure
Cayosoft will complete a final product review with the Customer, finalize any remaining knowledge transfer and outstanding questions, as time permits, direct the Customer to the Support website for future assistance, and mark the Professional Services engagement complete.
Assumptions and prerequisites
The Customer agrees to cooperate with Cayosoft on the delivery of the Cayosoft Guardian product and has completed all basic requirements before the Cayosoft subject matter expert engages in the project.
These requirements include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Required accounts have been created and permissioned for Cayosoft Guardian.
- Servers have been provisioned and patched.
- Network ports to essential services have been opened.
- Access for the Cayosoft subject matter expert has been created and is in place.
- The Customer’s resources will be available for questions and decision making as needed.
- Blocks are scheduled in one-hour or two-hour intervals.
- Blocks may change as requirements and desired outcomes are defined.
