Overview
In Cayosoft Administrator, web actions allow you to perform various operations on web query objects. Each web action provides several management options. This article outlines how to manage these web actions efficiently.
Available actions
-
Rename: Change the name of a web action.
NOTE: Renaming the built-in web actions is not recommended. Create a copy of a built-in web action and modify it as needed.
-
Copy: Create a duplicate of the selected web action. When you copy a web action, a − Copy suffix is added to the new web action.
NOTE: A copied web action is unassigned by default. No delegation or attribute policies apply until you link the action to a web query.
-
Delete: Delete the selected web action. Deleting built-in web actions is not supported.
-
Refresh rules: Update all rules associated with the web action. The action refreshes all rules, not just those linked to the web actions. When someone creates a rule in another console, you must first refresh the rules before you see them.
-
Link to: Link one or multiple web actions to a web query.
-
Unlink: Review the web queries the action is linked to. Unlink one or multiple web actions from a web query.
