Web Portal settings
Overview
The article provides an overview of the settings section for the Cayosoft AdministratorWeb Portal. Set up the Web Portal to meet your organization's needs and enhance the user experience.

User sign-in authentication method
|
IMPORTANT: When you switch to or from the Automatic sign-in (SSO) for Active Directory accounts method in the Web Portal settings, you must run the Web Portal registration tool to apply the change. To run the registration tool, navigate to the Web Portal settings and click Run Web Portal registration tool. Select an authentication method for the Web Portal users:
NOTE: To access and manage objects in a forest with no trust established to the Cayosoft Administrator server forest, select the SSO for Azure Active Directory / Office 365 authentication method. |
Enable integration with Entra ID application proxy |
Set to Yes if you use the Entra ID application proxy integration. Review the following article to configure Cayosoft Administrator for remote access through Entra ID application proxy: How to configure Cayosoft Administrator for remote access through Microsoft Entra Application Proxy. |
| Default domain name for Active Directory accounts | Specify a default Active Directory domain name for cases when users do not provide any domain name as part of their user name on the sign-in page. |
| Disable fallback to sign-in form for Active Directory accounts |
When set to Yes, only the single sign-in for AD accounts is used; the sign-in form is automatically skipped. The option applies only to the Automatic sign-in (SSO) + Sign-in for Active Directory accounts sign-in method. IMPORTANT: You must use the custom logon screen disclaimer and logon confirmation checkbox text fields with the disabled fallback option to create a custom confirmation message. |
| Support flow with password change at next login | When set to Yes with the User must change password at the next logon flag active for the user in Active Directory, the user is prompted with a password change sequence before logging to the Web Portal. |
| Allow sign-in for Microsoft 365 external users (guests) | Allow Microsoft 365 guests and users from other tenants to sign in to the Web Portal. |

Specify the user session timeout. NOTE: To apply this setting, run the Cayosoft Administrator Web Portal registration tool. |
Web Portal customization

| Background image on sign-in page |
Set the background image on the sign-in page and the logo image at the top of the Cayosoft AdministratorWeb Portal. Image file recommendations:
Both custom logo and background images are preserved on upgrade. NOTE: These images can be supplemented or replaced with customer images by modifying the existing images in the product installation folder. The files can be found here: C:\Program Files\Cayo Software\AdminAssistant\WebAdmin\Content. Use only compressed images so that image size does not degrade the performance of the web page as it loads. Refer to the provided image recommendations. |
| Show or hide elements on the sign-in page | Hide self-service links from the sign-in page and Keep me signed in option from the sign-in page. |
| Enable enterprise search | Enable the enterprise search. For more details about enterprise search, review the following article: Enterprise Search to find target objects across multiple forests |
| Enable the Operational Efficiency Dashboard |
Enable the Operational Efficiency Dashboard must be enabled. The purpose of the Operational Efficiency Dashboard is to provide a rough time-savings estimate achieved when tasks are completed with Cayosoft Administrator over performing the same management tasks manually using native tools. The dashboard is broken down into Yearly, Monthly, and Two- Week time frames. The dashboard is visible only for Global Administrators. |
| Enable double-click for default web action |
Specify Yes to enable a double-click to open default web action in the results grid in the Web Portal. For example, for AD Users, AD Groups, and AD Computers web queries the default action is Properties. |
| Default number of objects to show |
Specify the default number of objects displayed in the Active Directory, Microsoft 365 and Self-Service web queries. Also, it is possible to define this number per web query. The setting applies to all web queries except the following:

Logon screen disclaimer field |
Customize the text to display a custom message on the Web Portal login page. Be aware of the following usage notes:

| Logon confirmation checkbox text field |
Customize the text to display a checkbox with the custom message on the Web Portal login page. A user must select the checkbox to enable the Sign In button; if the checkbox is not selected, the button stays grayed out. Be aware of the following usage notes:
