How to update license cache and rules when the Microsoft 365 license change detected
Overview
The license cache in Cayosoft Administrator is a list of Microsoft 365 license plans and options in your Microsoft 365 tenant. Once every 24 hours Cayosoft Administrator reads license plans and options in your Microsoft 365 tenant and compares them to the cache. If a new license plan or license option is detected, Cayosoft Administrator updates the cache. Alternatively, you can update the license cache manually by following steps below to include the latest changes to your Microsoft 365 tenant immediately.
TIP: A new license plan or option can be added to the tenant as a result of a new purchase or Microsoft extending the list of services included in existing plans. Cayosoft Administrator can be configured to automatically apply specific license plans and options to users, either in bulk with automation rules, or with attribute policies during new user account creation in the Web Portal. After a new plan or option has been added to the tenant, it is recommended to review such rules and policies and make a decision on whether assign, revoke, or ignore new plans and options.
