Configuration: Add a user to Cayosoft Guardian

This article describes how to add a user to Cayosoft Guardian.

Cayosoft Guardian has 2 built-in roles: Global Administrator and Global Reader. A user with the Global Administrator role has full access to Cayosoft Guardian.

A user with the Global Reader role has read-only access to Cayosoft Guardian. This role cannot create configuration objects such as managed systems, jobs, and alerting rules and cannot make changes to managed systems, such as rollbacks and recoveries.

How to add a user

1. Open the Cayosoft Guardian web portal.
2. Expand the Settings node.
3. Select the Delegation node.
4. In the grid, click Add.
5. Fill out the form, select the role to be assigned, and click Create.
