Change Monitoring Overview

Change Monitoring in Cayosoft Guardian is a set of features that enables change collection, initiator discovery, alerting, reporting, and change rollback. This article describes some supported Change Monitoring scenarios.

Scenarios

Change Monitoring includes the following scenarios.

1. Search for specific changes in the data collected from connected systems using filters and saved queries. Learn more in: Change Monitoring: Search for specific changes in Change History.
2. Export selected changes to HTML, CSV, or JSON format. Learn more in: Exporting change history records.
3. Roll back selected changes in connected systems. Learn more in: Rolling back changes .
4. Configure an alerting rule. Alerting rules allow raising an alert if the change meets specific conditions. Once an alert is raised, Cayosoft Guardian can send a message to Teams or to an email address. Learn more in: Change Monitoring: Alerting.
5. Configure a reporting job. Scheduled reporting jobs get a list of changes and generate report files that can be sent via Teams or email. Learn more in: Change Monitoring: Create custom reports.
