Office 365 Users | License Plan Cost Analysis by User
Rule description
This rule will query Microsoft 365 Licensed Users and return those users that meet the specified criteria and license plan(s).
NOTE: Custom license plan pricing must be configured by your Cayosoft Global Administrator.
NOTE: Microsoft 365 Auditing must be enabled to use this rule. The analytics collection runbook must be scheduled and run before this report will present data. The Analytics collection runbook retrieves data required by this report from Active Directory and Microsoft 365.
When to use this rule
Use this rule when you need to get information about the state of the specified Microsoft 365 services assigned to the users.
Rule settings
Query section
| Setting name | Description |

State |
Select user account state: enabled, disabled, or both. |
Minimum account age |
Specify the number of days for the minimum account age. |
Days since last service usage |
Specify the number of days since the last service usage. If parameter set to 0 all service usage will be ignored. |

Specify the value of corresponding attributes to set the query filter. |
Current license |
Select the licenses in which you need to check the Microsoft 365 service use. |

Specify which services should be checked and select their state. |

To display additional properties for each object found by the query, add those properties to the list. |

Set the filtering conditions to hide unwanted data based on criteria not supported in the Query criteria setting. Example: filter by the found object Distinguished Name. TIP: For optimal performance, use the Query criteria setting above to filter objects whenever possible. |
Maximum returned results |
By default, all objects that you have in Microsoft 365 are returned. TIP: It is possible to change the default value in Microsoft 365 extension settings. |
