Introduction
Cayosoft will work with the Customer to review the scope of work to validate the desired outcome of the configuration of the Workday component, as well as review any specific rules, reports, and automation that the Customer is planning on having as part of this implementation. Based on the time allotment for the project, Cayosoft may only be able to implement a portion of the specific configuration request.
Configuration of Workday Service
Cayosoft will work with the Customer to configure Workday on the designated server(s) and validate connectivity to the the Customer’s Workday Environment.

Start the build out using the Sandbox Workday environment
Considerations:

Setup a Separate Cayosoft Administrator Server for Connectivity to the Sandbox Environment

Pro: Allows for Testing prior to moving to the Production environment
-
Pro: Prevents the need to switch the Service Account and Web URL
-
Pro: Potentially easier to provision ‘test’ user accounts in the Workday Sandbox to validate use cases
-
Con: You will need to copy the rules
-
Con: You will need to maintain 2 Administrator Servers

Con: You will need to maintain the manual XPath configurations on both systems.

XPath Mapping / Configuration / Validation
Cayosoft will work with the Customer to create an XPath mapping matrix that will be used with the Workday component to gather needed attributes from Workday to use for automation rules.
New User Creation
Cayosoft will work with the Customer to create automation rules that will be used to create New Users.
User Update (optional)
Cayosoft will work with the Customer to create automation to update specific fields for users that already exist.
User Suspend (optional)
Cayosoft will work with the Customer to create automation to Suspend Users based on a specific Termination date if available from Workday.
Transfer to Production (optional)
Cayosoft will work with the Customer to configure Workday on the designated server(s); validate connectivity to the the Customer’s production Workday Environment, transfer the configuration and rules created in the Test Environment.
Validation in Production (optional)
Cayosoft will work with the Customer to validate the functionality of the Production environment, including Connectivity to Workday Production, XPath mapping, New User creation, User Updates (optional), and User Suspend (Optional).
Knowledge Transfer / Finalization
Cayosoft will do a final configuration review with the Customer; finalizing any knowledge transfer and questions that are outstanding for the configuration of Workday and the associated automation rules.
Assumptions and Prerequisites
The Customer agrees to cooperate with Cayosoft on the delivery of the Workday Component for the Cayosoft Administrator product and has completed all the basic requirements prior to the Cayosoft Subject Matter Expert from engaging in the project. These requirements include but are not limited to:

Needed Accounts are created and permissioned for Cayosoft Administrator.

Servers have been provisioned and patched.
-
Network Ports to essential services have been opened.
-
Access for Cayosoft Subject Matter Expert has been created and in place.
-
The Customer Resources will be available for questions and decision making as needed.
-
Subject Matter Expert for Workday will be available as needed to assist with the deployment.
-
The Customer has a Workday Sandbox environment.
