Rule description

This rule collects data from the specified Active Directory organizational unit or managed domains.

This rule is a part of the Analytics collection runbook that collects usage data from Active Directory and Microsoft 365. This data is used in Office 365 License Optimization dashboard and Office 365 Service Adoption dashboard in the Web Portal.

Limit scope to this domain or OU

This setting defines the search query scope. To improve query performance, limit the scope to a specific OU.

IMPORTANT: To test the rule configuration, limit the rule scope to an OU that contains test accounts or objects and use the Preview feature.
