Work with expiring accounts
Overview
Cayosoft Administrator introduced the Extend Expiration Date web action to manage expiring and expired accounts. This article covers management scenarios to implement in your environment. Refer to the following article for additional information on the web action setup: Extend expiration date web action.
Extend the expiration date in managed users
In the Self-Service admin unit, select My AD Users (Expiring).
Click Search to show a list of expiring users managed by the account.
Highlight the user and click Extend Expiration Date in the Actions pane. To manage expiration date in multiple users, click the check icon in all target users.

In the Extend Expiration Date dropdown, pick the number of days to extend the expiration date of the account.
NOTE: The Use current date as start checkbox overrides the expiration date; the checkbox uses the execution date as a starting date for the calculated expiration date.
Click Update.
Extend the expiration date in expired users
You can use the Extend Expiration Date web action to extend the expiration date in expired users. Refer to the following example covering the default AD Users web query:
In the Cayosoft Administrator Console, navigate to Configuration > Web Portal > Virtual Admin Units > Active Directory > AD Users. Add the Extend Expiration Date web action to the web query and save the changes.
In the Web Portal, navigate to Active Directory > AD Users.
In the web query view, highlight an expired user and click Extend Expiration Date in the Actions pane. To manage expiration date in multiple users, click the check icon in all target users.
In the Extend Expiration Date dropdown, pick the number of days to extend the expiration date of the account. Select the Use current date as start checkbox to override the expiration date.
Click Update.
