Work with My Office 365 DLs
New Distribution List
Click the Self-Service Administrative Unit > My Office 365 DLs.
On the Actions menu, click New Distribution List.
If needed, click browse to change the location of the group.
Enter the new Group Name and verify the automatically generated values on the form.
Verify or change the names generated for Alias and Primary SMTP Prefix.
Select the Group Type if needed.
Change the Managed By attribute to the individual that will be responsible for the group.
Under Mailbox Type, select Exchange Remote.
Click Create.
Properties
- Click the Self-Service Administrative Unit > My Office 365 DLs.
- Click the checkbox to the left of the group’s name.
- On the Actions menu, click Properties.
Mail Properties
Click the Self-Service Administrative Unit > My Office 365 DLs.
Click the checkbox to the left of the group’s name.
On the Actions menu, click Mail Properties.
Membership
Click the Self-Service Administrative Unit > My Office 365 DLs.
Click the checkbox to the left of the groups' name.
On the Actions menu, click Membership.
To Add a User(s) to the Group, click +Add.
Enter the name of the user in the search field and click Search Objects.
Select the User(s) by clicking the check to the left of the name and click OK.
Enter the name of the user(s) in the Search field and click Search Objects.
Click the checkbox to the left of the user’s name then click OK.
To Remove a User(s) from the Group:
Click the checkbox to the left of the user’s name then click the Remove button.
Click Update to save changes to the group.
